Do I need to change anything in my ERP to connect?
No. Azdan connects through your ERP's existing API layer. There are no changes to your accounting workflow, chart of accounts, or document templates.
What does Azdan provide during onboarding?
Azdan provides API credentials, PINT-AE validation rules, a full sandbox environment for conformance testing, signed webhook configuration, and technical onboarding support.
What is PINT-AE and do I need to worry about it?
PINT-AE is the UAE-specific Peppol invoice specification. Azdan handles PINT-AE validation and UBL formatting automatically — your team submits invoice data, Azdan ensures it meets FTA requirements before transmission.
When is UAE e-invoicing mandatory?
The UAE FTA e-invoicing mandate applies to large enterprises from January 2027 and SMEs from July 2027. Both phases require invoices to be transmitted via a certified Peppol Access Point.
How does Azdan handle failed or rejected invoices?
Failed transmissions surface in real time with a specific error reason. Azdan retries automatically with exponential backoff, and your team receives a webhook notification with the exact failure detail.
How long are invoice records retained?
Every invoice payload, AS4 envelope, MLS receipt, and audit log entry is retained for the FTA-mandated period of 5-15 years — tamper-evident and retrievable at any time.
