How Agrimatco Unified Financial Operations Across a 39-Country Agricultural Distribution Business
Agrimatco — Agricultural Materials Company Ltd. — is one of the most geographically distinctive companies in the world of agriculture. Headquartered in Cyprus and operating across 50 countries, Agrimatco distributes crop protection products, specialty fertilizers, seeds, veterinary products, public health products, and agricultural machinery and tools to markets spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. The scale of the operation — its multi-country subsidiaries, regulatory environments, and financial complexity — is matched only by the ambition of the people running it.
The Challenge of Running 50 Markets From One Finance Function
For a company operating at Agrimatco's geographic spread, unified financial visibility is not just a reporting ambition — it is an operational necessity. Without a consolidated ERP, each subsidiary carried its own financial processes, and consolidating group performance required significant manual effort across multiple systems and time zones. Performance management was similarly fragmented: budget cycles, forecasting, and profitability analysis by market, product line, and geography were not available in any structured, integrated form.
At the same time, Agrimatco's operations in key MENA markets — Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan — each faced distinct and mandatory e-invoicing compliance requirements that needed to be addressed at scale, natively, inside whatever ERP platform the group adopted.
What We Did
Azdan delivered one of the most comprehensive Oracle NetSuite engagements in the region — a multi-year program covering ERP, EPM, regional e-invoicing compliance, and mobile CRM across Agrimatco's global structure:
- NetSuite ERP (50 subsidiaries) — the full financial suite — GL, AP, AR, cash management, payment management, tax management, fixed assets, consolidation, budget management, expense allocations, and amortization schedules — deployed across 50 Agrimatco entities globally.
- Oracle EPM — planning and budgeting, account reconciliation, close management and consolidation, corporate tax reporting, narrative reporting, and profitability and cost management — giving Agrimatco's leadership a unified performance management layer across the group.
- ETA Egypt E-Invoicing — 100% NetSuite-native compliance with Egypt's electronic invoicing and receipt regulations, covering generation, transmission, and archiving inside NetSuite.
- ZATCA E-Invoicing (KSA) — native compliance with Saudi Arabia's ZATCA mandate — UUID and QR code generation, unlimited invoice processing, no middleware.
- JoFotara Jordan E-Invoicing — native compliance with Jordan's ISTD e-invoicing regulations, with UBL XML payloads and QR code embedding inside NetSuite.
- AzdanApps CRM Mobile App — a fully native mobile extension of NetSuite CRM giving Agrimatco's field sales teams access to leads, accounts, quotes, visit tracking, and campaign management from their mobile devices — critical for a business where relationships are built in the field across dozens of markets.
An ongoing managed service and support agreement with Azdan ensures the platform continues to evolve at the pace of Agrimatco's global operations.
One Platform. 50 Countries. One Source of Truth.
Agrimatco's finance function moved from fragmented, market-by-market financial management to a consolidated global view — with real-time ERP data from 39 subsidiaries flowing into a unified performance management layer via Oracle EPM. E-invoicing compliance across Egypt, KSA, and Jordan became automated and native. Field sales teams across the group's most active markets gained mobile access to the CRM data they need to do their jobs effectively in the field.
For a company that has built its business on a presence in 50 countries, having the infrastructure to actually see, manage, and optimize that business from one platform is what makes growth at that scale genuinely sustainable.
