How Al Basateen Unified Property Sales, Leasing, and Finance on a Single Platform
Al Basateen Real Estate is one of Saudi Arabia's leading luxury property developers — delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across Riyadh and Diriyah. A subsidiary of Alshegrey Group, the company was growing fast, with active investment funds exceeding SAR 2 billion and an expanding portfolio of off-plan sales and managed leases. But its operations hadn't kept pace with its ambition.
Growth Without Infrastructure
Sales, leasing, and project finance were all running in parallel — disconnected from each other and from a single financial system. Reservations and payment plans were tracked manually. Lease renewals had no automated visibility. Project costs were governed outside NetSuite, leaving leadership without accurate budget-versus-actual data across active developments.
On top of that, Saudi Arabia's ZATCA e-invoicing mandate was in effect — and the team had no native compliance mechanism in place. With a growing portfolio and regulatory exposure rising, Al Basateen needed one platform to run it all.
What We Did
Azdan implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as the financial core, then layered three native AzdanApps modules built specifically for real estate operations:
- Property Sales Management — full sales lifecycle from inventory and offers through reservations, SPAs, payment plans, PDC handling, and final handover.
- Property Lease Management — centralized contract lifecycle management, automated billing schedules, renewal alerts, and AR in one place.
- Project Costing — structured BOQ management, contractor contracts, progress payments, variation orders, and real-time cost exposure across every active development.
ZATCA e-invoicing compliance was enabled natively inside NetSuite — no middleware, no third-party tools, fully audit-ready from day one.

One Platform for a Growing Portfolio
Manual processes across sales, leasing, and finance dropped significantly. Teams that previously worked across disconnected systems now operate from a single source of truth — with real-time visibility into unit status, contract obligations, payment collections, and project costs.
For a developer scaling at the pace Vision 2030 demands, Al Basateen now has the operational infrastructure to match its portfolio.
