Harvest Management and Labour Incentives
The Harvest Console converts each picker’s bucket count into kilograms and calculates the excess-target incentive. The crop settings determine bucket weight, daily target and rate. Accurate labourer and block references are therefore as important as the quantity itself.
Before you begin
Confirm the harvest date, crop, labourer identifiers and block assignments. Check the approved bucket weight, target and incentive rate. Reconcile the handheld export to the day’s harvest records before processing it.
Navigation: Top-right screen dropdown → Harvest Console & Incentive.
Procedure
- Review the crew count, total buckets and kilograms for the day. The example covers 200 peach pickers on 14 July 2026.
- Check The scheme, then review individual labourer lines for unexpected quantities or assignments.
- Recalculate a sample line using bucket count × bucket weight and excess buckets × incentive rate.
- For a new day, open Bring in a new day. The export requires two columns: labourer and buckets.
- Paste the checked export into the entry area. Verify the identifiers, units and date before continuing.
- Use Compute and post to payroll and the crop only under the agreed processing procedure. Reconcile the resulting quantities and costs in the configured account.
Responsibilities and follow-up
The harvest record supplies the quantity for operations and the incentive basis for payroll and crop costing. Pass the lot-specific harvested weight to the packhouse; do not substitute an entire crew-day total for a single lot.
Worked example: labourer L001
| Calculation | Example |
|---|---|
| Kilograms | 120 buckets × 9 kg = 1,080 kg |
| Excess buckets | Maximum of (120 − 80) and zero = 40 |
| Incentive | 40 × SAR 5 = SAR 200 |
| Below target | No excess-bucket incentive is shown; this does not determine base pay |
The day totals 16,102 buckets, 144,918 kg and SAR 6,795 of incentives, with 104 labourers above target. These totals cover the displayed crew day. They should not be assumed to equal the 42,000 kg peach lot used in the packhouse example, which has a different scope.
Important notes
The posting control is documented from the interface but was not executed. The existing register demonstrates the calculation, not a successful new upload. InoPeople is a separate workstream on the Solution Map; confirm the payroll connection and posting behaviour before operational use.
