Reviewing asset preventive maintenance schedules

An asset PPM schedule defines the planned preventive maintenance context for an asset, including its checklist, frequency, date range, next due date, and service targets.

Navigation: Open the Asset PPM Schedule linked from Work Order > Related Records, or use the schedule list available to your role.

Before you begin

Confirm the asset, category, responsible vendor, service contract, property, checklist, maintenance frequency, and service commitments.

NetSuite Real Estate — The populated schedule shows frequency, effective dates, next due date, and SLA settings; labels and configured frequency should be reconciled.

Procedure

  1. Open the schedule and verify the asset, asset category, vendor, contract, and Active or other current status.
  2. Review the subsidiary and property to confirm the schedule applies to the intended equipment.
  3. Check the checklist template, Frequency, Start Date, End Date, and Next Due Date.
  4. Review SLA Category, SLA Response, and SLA Resolution against the approved service agreement.
  5. Compare related work orders with the schedule and investigate missed or overdue activity through the facilities process.

Result

Preventive maintenance planning is linked to the correct asset, service agreement, and execution records.

Important

Use the Frequency field rather than inferring frequency from a schedule or checklist name. In the example, the checklist name includes WEEKLY but the Frequency field is Quarterly; this discrepancy should be resolved by the responsible schedule owner.
